Frequently Asked Questions

What is TruAligner?

TruAligner is a clear aligner system designed to straighten teeth and improve bite alignment using advanced technology and doctor-guided treatment.

How does TruAligner work?

TruAligner uses a series of custom-made, removable aligners that gradually shift your teeth into their ideal position over time.

Am I a candidate for TruAligner?

Most adults and teens with mild to moderate alignment issues—such as crowding, spacing, or bite concerns—may be good candidates. A licensed dentist will evaluate your case to determine if TruAligner is right for you.

Is my treatment supervised by a dentist?

Yes. Every TruAligner case is reviewed and guided by a licensed dentist who is responsible for your treatment plan and ongoing care.

Will I need to visit a dental office?

In most cases, you’ll start with an initial consultation or scan. After that, many check-ins can be done remotely, depending on your treatment plan.

How long does treatment take?

Treatment time varies depending on your case, but most patients complete treatment within 4 to 12 months.

How often do I wear my aligners?

For best results, aligners should be worn 20–22 hours per day, removing them only for eating, drinking (anything other than water), and cleaning.

When will I see results?

Many patients begin noticing changes within the first few weeks of treatment.

How is my progress tracked?

Your progress may be monitored through in-office visits and/or remote check-ins, allowing your dentist to track your treatment and make adjustments if needed.

What happens if I lose or damage an aligner?

Contact your provider as soon as possible. They will guide you on the next step, which may include replacing the aligner.
